“I used to think I was the strangest person in the world but then I thought there are so many people in the world, there must be someone just like me who feels bizarre and flawed in the same ways I do. I would imagine her, and imagine that she must be out there thinking of me, too. Well, I hope that if you are out there and read this and know that, yes, it’s true I’m here, and I’m just as strange as you.” – Frida Kahlo

About the artist:
I studied communications at the University of Lima (Peru) but always stayed linked to art by painting personalised piggy banks. It started as a birthday gift I made for my cousin and ended up becoming something I worked on for more than 10 years. It wasn’t until 2015 that I decided to make a living out of my art and started painting and getting involved in other artistic projects to continue growing on this path. I really like learning different techniques and discovering diverse areas of art but what I’m most passionate about and inspired by are the colours. I love everything they communicate and transmit, especially positive feelings and emotions that can have a powerful impact on people. I want to whoever sees the things I make to feel better and happier.
